StartichDownload Startich version 1.0     Only for Windows XP/7 (maybe Win 8 - haven't tested)
This is a readme file for the program Startich. A friend of mine, who gave me an idea for this program, came up with the program's name. Yeah I know, it sucks big time :)
- There are no changes yet, since this is the first version to be released :)
This program was written for the purpose of starting an application after a certain (predefined) periode of time of user inactivity. So basically, if you go away from your computer and don't want for the computer to be idle if you are away for more than 5 minutes, you can set the inactivity timeout to 5 minutes and select an application you would like to start after the timeout is reached. I will add more features in the future.
File -> Exit: Exits the program
Edit -> Preferences: Here, you need to set the path to the application you would like to start after the time has ran out. You also need to specify the number of minutes that the computer is idle, before starting your selected application. You can also choose to close the application when the user activity resumes. Or you can leave the check box unchecked.
Help -> About: Some info about the application
Help -> ReadMe: This info file.
*WARNING* If you just close the application after it has been automatically started, you will need to stop and start the timer again in order for the application to start again.
Pretty starightforward right ? :)
